The Mexican duo that got its start playing on the streets of Dublin, Ireland will rock New York’s Radio City Music Hall on April 20th. Their signature brand of heavy metal inspired Mexican folk music got a jolt of jazz in their newest album, Area 52, which was released last month. Rodrigo y Gabriela picked nine songs from their six years of making music together and rearranged and recorded the tracks with C.U.B.A, a 13-piece orchestra from Havana.
For the first time, Rodrigo y Gabriela are touring with back up. C.U.B.A is joining the duo for every show, recreating Area 52 live on stage for audiences across Europe and North America.
