The LAMC returns to New York City this summer on July 11 – 14, for its Thirteenth year. The Latin Alternative Music Conference has been a go to event for us every summer, and hope that this year we’ll also see you there! LAMC is geared towards the marketing of Spanish-language alternative music. This four-day conference is an extensive gathering of the genre’s leading artists, label executives, journalists, managers, retailers and programmers.
This year’s conference will take place at The New Yorker Hotel, in Midtown Manhattan, where industry discussion panels, exhibitions, press conferences, and networking will be among the highlights of this one of a kind event. Besides all the goodness that will be going on at LAMC headquarters, there will be free LAMC concerts at Central Park SummerStage and Celebrate Brooklyn Festival at Prospect Park. People who register for this conference will have exclusive access to special LAMC events all around the city, as well as many chances to rub elbows with some of their favorite up-and-coming artists. Lineup for this year’s events have not been announced yet, but we’ll make sure to update you as soon as they are. Early bird reduced registration for this conference is $99 for the time being, so head over to their website and show your support for this Latin Alternative movement.
