Calle 13 has put out a video for ”La Vuelta al Mundo”, in our opinion one of the more lovelier tracks on the nine time Latin Grammy winning album, Entren Los Que Quieran. This time we don’t see Rene rapping but singing a lyrical love and triumph song about turning your world around by turning the world. Video shows two office workers which take it upon themselves to change their mundane day-to-day lives for a more colorful one.
“La Vuelta al mundo” was directed by Argentinean film maker Juan José Campanella, with Argentinean protagonist actors played by Soledad Fandiño and Juan Minujín. Apparently we were not the only ones to notice a lil continuity error, Rene you can call us next time, we will gladly edit for free!
Most of us can relate to this video when I say we would all like to send our bosses to hell sometimes and go travel the world unfortunately we have bills and are not able to do that but it’s nice to daydream that it can happen one day!
Currently Calle 13 is working on a new album, we’ve been waiting for Rene’s English album and we also look forward for Peje13′s album. They are currently touring the US and will head to Europe by the summer.
