There is no denying that Romeo Santos is the King, he is the only Latin Artist that has been able to sell out shows in major arenas like Madison Square Garden, as part of the world renowned group Aventura and also as a solo artist. His success has come very far over the years, a Dominican and Bronx native singing an unpopular rhythm. Bachata at that time was generally listened by older crowds and with the help of Aventura it became a world wide phenomenon. Romeo Santos has recently finished his US tour and is headed to Latin America. The first show out of the nine is in Venezuela and is already sold out. We know this is just the beginning of sold out shows for Romeo, tour will also be in countries like Peru, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Ecuador. Romeo has 11 nominations to Premios Lo Nuestro this year, nominations include “Red Hot Artist” and “Best Moves” among others. Premio Lo Nuestro will air on Univision, Live from the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami on Thursday July 19,2012 8pm ET.
