Exclusive Interview: Tan Bionica, Live From Argentina

One of the most successful groups of the moment, the Argentinean band Tan Bionica talked to Danny Luna for this exclusive first US interview. They have more than 10 million views on You Tube, 120,000 and 30,000 fans in Facebook Fans and Twitter followers. Their fan network continues to grow day by day with new followers not only in Argentina, but worldwide. The “Obsessed Tour”, conducted over 70 concerts in different countries and cities like Spain, Mexico, Venezuela, Paraguay, Uruguay and France, reaching hundreds of thousands of fans.

In March they will be in Mexico, passing through Chile and Paraguay. Among the many achievements and challenges, the band has played in numerous important venues such as Luna Park in Buenos Aires. The band has received two Carlos Gardel awards (Best Pop Album and Best Artist 2011) and the “Best Argentinean artist 2011” at 40 principales in Spain.

Tan Bionica is a fusion of styles, rock, romantic, punk, rock fusion. The members;  Chano Moreno Charpentier (voice), Sebastian Seoane (guitar), Bambi Charpentier Moreno (bass) and Diego Lichtenstein (drums).

Caramelos de Cianuro in New York City

After two years the Venezuelan latin alternative pop rock band Caramelos de Cianuro return to New York. The band has released 8 albums in their 20 year career; each single has dominated the latin pop charts in numerous countries. Currently their video of single “La casa” has been on HTV top 10 charts for 16 weeks and has been featured on MTV Tr3s reality show “Popland”. With over 1 million views on youtube “This song is for all our Latin-American Friends… Far away from home”, “lejos de Casa”.
“Caramelos” is in the middle of touring South America (Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama and others). Earlier in the year they toured sold out arenas in Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo, El Salvador, Mexico & Miami, and the recent show last week in New York.

La Oreja de Van Gogh Best National Group

La Oreja de Van Gogh receives the “Mejor Artista o Grupo Nacional” at Los 40 Principales awards on December 9, 2011. The awards ceremony was held at Palacio de los Deportes in Madrid, Spain. Along La Oreja De Van Gogh artists like Shakira and Enrique Iglesias were also present and took home awards.

We had the opportunity to talk to Leire Martinez lead singer of LODVG after the awards. See the video below… She is very sweet! More videos to come…

He explains the similarities between Calle 13 and his goals to go international. Which we know won’t be a problem for him since his video of “La Fuga” already has over 15 million views on YouTube. The Venezuelan musician Lorenzo Duarte speaks to Danny Luna about “Pa’Lante y Pa’Tras”, the first single off his new album. The song Features Carlos Lion “The Lazaro” (ex-integrante de Calle Ciega) & el puertorriqueño Charly Zoo (Grupo Da’Zoo). You might recognize him from the popular band MDO, even though I didn’t… I saw them back in 1997! Lorenzo Duarte is no longer with the band and is now pursuing his solo career.
